Why can't they just have a little text popup when I hover the cursor over the image to avoid confusion? Symbols/images/icons/hieroglyphs are only useful when they've been widely adopted and it's universally understood what they represent. I'm going to admit, this has put me in a bad mood. I've tried to find instructions from several sources including the pdf instructions for my motherboard but had no luck. If only connecting front left and right speakers, is it irrelevant then or is it still limiting the frequencies sent if I select the middle image? I'm also confused by the inclusion of an auto setting because the line connection doesn't provide any information that could be used to determine speaker size. What confuses me more is that on the next screen, regardless of which image I choose, it says "Full-range Speakers" and there is a pre-ticked checkbox for front left and right and a checkbox for surround which is greyed out. I sell electronics, including speakers, for a living and nothing about the image on the right is necessarily indicative of a full-range speaker. If I were to guess, I'd suppose that the middle image represents a small desktop speaker with. Can someone please either direct me to written instructions which explains what the right image represents or if someone knows for sure what it represents (no guesses please) could they please tell me.
